July 1st (Thursday) Concert at the Lithgow Library in Augusta at 6:30. The Ladies of the Lake are top-notch instrumentalists and accomplished singers, known for their Celtic music and beautiful ballad singing. Don’t miss this performance!!! Cost: Free Hosting: Arlene Innis (685-4237)
July 3rd (Saturday) Pot Luck, at Gloria Weisheit’s (621-0341) home (74 Dam Road, Vasselboro) starting at 1pm. (Depending on the weather – Kayak, swim, sit on deck and tell lies, play cards, and eat lots of yummy food.) Please bring food, swim gear, (can use kayaks here– have dock), fish pole, and extra chair if you have one.) Call for directions or if you need a ride. Webber Pond is a large mouth bass pond!
July 10th and July 11th - No events planned at this time.
July 17th (Saturday) Stand-up comedy and storytelling “Shutting up Peggy Lee” with Susan Poulin. Held at the Celebration Barn, South Paris, ME at 7:30. Car pooling to be arranged. Cost: Seniors – (63 & up) $12.00 and Adults - $14.00. Money for tickets needed by July 5 give to Arlene. Hosted by: Arlene Innes (685-4237) Adults Only.
July 25th (Sunday) Mail Boat Run with Bob Heikkinen (897-5567). We will meet at Gov. Hill parking lot at 9am to travel to Portland. The boat will depart from Portland at 10am. After the boat ride, we will go out to eat. It is colder on water, so make sure you bring extra clothing. Price: $12.50 for seniors, $14.50 for adults. You will need $ for your meal. All who went last year had a great day! Adults Only.
July 31st (Saturday) Beach Day at Popham Beach. Meet at 10:00 to carpool at Gov. Hill parking lot. Please take a picnic lunch for you and any extras to share around. Bring sun lotion, an extra chair etc. Should it rain we will go on Sunday. Hosting: Frank Collins(322-5451)
August 1st (Sunday) Rain day for Popham Beach event. Meet at Gov.Hill parking lot at 12:00.
August 7th (Saturday) Pot Luck (1pm) at Carol Powers (897-4958) camp on Pease Pond in East Wilton, ME. Bring food & drinks. There will be kayaking, swimming, walking, talking and eating! Bring your kayaks and life jackets, any extra chairs. Adults only. Directions and maps provided at Wisdum.

August 21st (Saturday) Pot Luck and Balloon Festival - Pot Luck at 88 Barnard Cove Road, Greene ME at 11am – 4:30pm. We will meet on the Lewiston side at 5pm for the festivities for the Balloon Festival. Not only will we see beautiful balloons, but we will have great food and fellowship. August 28th (Saturday) Ladies Jewelry Making Party, 11:00am – 2pm. Three Wisdum experts will teach beading. Free plastic beads or bring your own. Lunch provided, bring drinks or dessert. Hosted by: Debbie Thompson (923-4444) at 345 Main St., E. Vassalboro.
September 4th (Saturday) Labor Day Weekend Pot Luck at Debbie Thompson’s (923-4444) house at 345 Main St., E. Vassalboro at 1pm. Please bring food/drink and a spare chair if you have one. A great time will be had by all with lots of fellowship, yummy food, and games etc.
